Just love these old valentine cards. This one has some wear but is the mechanical kind where the little boys swings up to surprise his sweetie with a card sealed with a heart.
These are some of many that open up to a sweet message inside. I have dozens of this style in various sizes - some are dated late 1920's. Very vivid colors and designs - remind me of the Mary Englebreit style.
This is a fold-out from about that same time. Love the details, like the little puppy in the front.
